Performing with multiple instruments, we are often compared to a 4 piece band. We travel with a state of the art PreSonus P.A. I perform with 7 guitars, all in various tunings, harp rack (30 harps), and bass-stomp board. Lil Miss Debi adds various percussion instruments and vocals to the mix. A small lighting system effectively illuminates our performances.
Apart from our originals (12 CDs), we can cover the likes of Otis, Merle Haggard, Allman Brothers, ZZ Top, Bad Company, Taj Mahal, Hank Williams, Bob Segar, 5 Blind Boys of Alabama, Lucinda Williams, Lttle Feat, etc…

Hello, my name is Danny Brooks and my wife and music partner Lil Miss Debi are constantly
touring and currently promoting our latest CD ‘Are You Ready? The Mississippi Sessions’ which is beginning to garner a buzz in the early stages of our radio/media campaign.. (see reviews and quotes) Originally from Toronto Canada we now make Llano Texas our home. We play Southern Soul, with a mix of blues/soul/Americana/mountain and gospel. I play assorted guitars (6)/slide/cigar-box/stomp-tambo-board/harp-rack and Debi sings with me and plays cajon/percussion. We will be traveling with a band to promote the new recording, while incorporating into the show a 'stripped down' segment as well.
On our 12 CD’s we have had the honor and privilege to work with notable producers Johnny Sandlin (Capricorn Records), Richard Bell (Janis Joplin, The Band), Jim Dickinson (Aretha Franklin, Stones), Louis X Erlanger (Mink DeVille, RL Burnside) and Larry Nye (Steve Fromholz/Ryan Bingham). Our current CD "Are You Ready? The Mississippi Sessions" was produced by Tom Easley, former engineer for Malaco Records. Tom's work with Bobby Blue Bland Band, Johnnie Taylor and Little Milton, impressed Brooks to work with him. We are thrilled with the sounds we got out of AVA Entertainment Studios (Raymond, Mississippi), as well as the performances from the incredible players who shine on this recording!
In Texas we have performed at the Austin City Limits Festival, Luckenbach Dance Hall, Gruene Hall, Redneck Country Club, Threadgills, and Stubbs BBQ. In other areas of the greater U.S.A., we have played such venues as; HOB in New Orleans, as well as David Wade and Angola Penitentiary (Louisiana), Parchman Farm (Mississippi),
